Salve,finalmente sono riuscito,dopo alcune rogne per quanto riguarda i repository,ad installare proftpd tramite Webmin sul mio VPS (centos),tutto bene,il vps è configurato a livello base e ho assegnato l'utente "ftp" come utente principale per l'accesso appunto al server ftp.
Loggando funziona tutto come dovrebbe,il problema è che non posso ne creare,ne eliminare,ne spostare files o cartelle,posso solo navigare tra quelle esistenti,essendo configurato per apache l'ho impostato per aprirsi su /var/www/html/.
Errore 550 - Operation Not Permitted
Da putty do "ls -l /var/www/" e mi da
drwxr-xr-x 2 sulla cartella /html/ quindi direi che fin qui non ci sono problemi.
Questo è invece il confing di proftpd

Dov'è che sbaglio ? Vorrei solo far funzionare l'ftp come dovrebbe

E' da ieri che spulcio google ma le soluzioni sono sempre diverse tra loro e non voglio combinare qualche guaio
