aiuto installazione rms

salve a tutti, ho preso un server dedicato, e avrei l'esigenza di installare questo pacchetto rms per lo streaming, ma non ho compreso bene come avviene la procedura di installazione, ho un server con sistema operativo CentOS 5.0, con whm/cpanel, con l'account ssh, usando putty, non riesco ad accedere, putty mi blocca nella digitazione della password, ci sono soluzioni alternative? come posso fare?

abbiamo trovato queste istruzioni ma non ho capito bene come procedere, e come istallarlo sul server

 Log into your shell account using your favorite SSH client (UNIX only) or use a Remote Desktop Connection with your server (WINDOWS only).   NB: You need the ports 1935, 1936 and 5080 to be opened/enabled in your firewall or iptables. 
   [b]Choosing a Folder to install RMS (UNIX only) ¶[/b]

 Choose the folder where RMS will be installed in. You can create a separate folder for that. It doesn't matter where you create this folder but remember that if you want to prevent the folder from being accessed in a browser, you should create it in the root directory of your hosting account (/) or your home directory if root is not accessible or writable (/home/myaccount/). Let's assume you have created "ray_server" folder inside "/opt" directory. Now the absolute path to your Ray Media Server folder is /opt/ray_server/.  [b]Uploading Files ¶[/b]

 Download the Ray Media server archive applicable for your operating system (UNIX or Windows). Unzip the archive and upload the contents of the extracted folder in the folder you created on your server (for example /opt/ray_server).   NB: if you're installing the Windows version, you will have to run the extracted executable file on your Windows server. After you have followed the wizard's instruction, RMS will be installed by default in C:\Program Files\RMS.

Cosa intendi per "ti blocca nella digitazione della password"?
Senza client ssh non hai la possibilità di installare quel pacchetto.

Se non hai esperienze di gestione di server ti consiglio di rivolgerti a chi ti ha venduto il server per chiedere un servizio di tipo managed.

in pochi parole, apro il client ssh, digito lo username e tutto ok, quando poi mi chiede la password, non me la fa digitare e m i si blocca.
come client ssh uso putty.

samnat la password non è visibile, digitala e non vedrai accadere nulla sul terminale ... alla fine dai invio e se la pass è corretta verrai loggato.
Se è questo il problema, il mio consiglio personale è di disdire il servizio perchè non hai visibilmente le qualità per gestirlo.
