BlueHost qualcuno l'ha provato?

Qualcuno di voi ha mai sperimentato http://www.bluehost.com/ ?

In realtà cercherei qualcosa di meno un po più economico...
tipo 5gb di storage, riempibili con mysql, e un traffico di almeno 30Gb/m per 4$ al mese...
però fin ora trovo tutte offerte senza db.

Io avevo un account da loro che lo utilizzavo come hdd remoto...
Risultato? -> spazio sospero per eccessivo uso di risorse... (no comment )

Non ve lo consiglio, violano troppo spesso la privacy della gente e mentono un casino vi faccio copia e incolla del commento di un mio amico, è in inglese spero non vi facciate problemi nel tradurlo, chiedete a me casomai:

I dunno how they behave to others customers but to me they lied a lot.
I had a web forum hosted by bluehost last year.
First of all they decreased resources allocation without informing me;
I got my forum suspended because an user shared on it porn material, and according they rules they suspended my account. I am not complain for this, it was my mistake, i asked sorry and they replied me that they found porn material thanks to an automatic program wich scan the conents of all customers to find rules infraction. so i transferred my web forum to another host company.
After 2 months i discovered in my forum an account with Administration permission. I checked the registration ip and i found it was from bluehost office!!!
This is the emails that i wrote with blue host (i censored personal informations for privacy law)

avevo i siti hostati li, sempre lenti, un sacco di problemi di downtime.

lol verissimo, ricordo che alcune volte perfino guardando i moduli cgi/perl installati o facendo un backup mi andava tutto in over sources e quando sucedeva sul sito web veniva visualizzata la pagina "This account has been suspended for resources exceeded" per 30 minuti! poi tornava normale.... non è carino che la gente vede ogni volta na pagina del genere

Bluehost, evitali come la peste. Io faccio internet marketing e mi sono iscritto come affiliate di bluehost tramite CJ il 1 aprile 2008.
Come bravo affiliate, prima di raccomandare bluehost agli amici e clienti mi ci sono iscritto io, per vedere veramente come sono.
Due giorni dopo aver comperato webspace (e pagato $95) mi hanno accusato di avere dato dati scorretti e mi hanno ammazzato l'acconto. In breve ho pagato, non mi hanno dato niente e adesso non rispondono alle emails.
Per fortuna che sono anni che lavoro con CJ e paypal, (che sanno che i miei dati non sono scorretti) e allora dovrebbe finire tutto subito, cioe' dovrei riavere i miei $95.
Pero' ho dovuto aprire una dispute con paypal il che comporta una perdita di tempo.
Non so che problemi abbiano avuto con i miei dettagli, certo e' che a quanto ho capito e' gente che prima spara, poi dice " chi va la" proprio come i veri cowboys.

Morale della favola? Se fate marketing e volete promuovere offerte vi consiglio vivamente di provare sulla vostra pelle, meglio cosi che perdere pempo con il creare siti e campagne per niente.

Ciao, ti posso dire che sono un webdesigner ed utilizzo bluehost da circa tre anni, è un pò più caro degli altri americani ma secondo me è eccellente. Se ho qualche problema vado in assistenza chat e mi risolvono tutto, uno volta avevo un problema con degli script e l'operatore, vista la mai disperazione assoluta, mi ha modificato il codice di sua mano anche se non era tenuto, non ho mai avuto problemi di banda. Certo che sei poi hosti siti web per adulti o magari con 10.000 visite mensili allora non lo so il risultato e come si comportano. Il pannello interno è intuitivo, trovi tutto a portata di mano e non ti perdi dentro come certi hosting discutibili come aruba o godaddy. Personalmente sono molto soddisfatto
