Ciao ragazzi!
Ovh mi ha assegnato un server (dietro mia richiesta, per un mese) su cui effettuare vari test per scrivere una recensione

Ho bisogno di un vostro aiuto per fare alcune prove.

Vorrei fare una lista delle varie latenze e velocità di download dal server da varie adsl ( o linea server).

Se avete voglia di aiutarmi, scaricate il file (con linea scarica), eseguite un ping, un traceroute verso l'ip sottoindicato.

Rispondetemi a questo thread indicando i vari dati indicando la vostra adsl (con velocità max teorica).

Ho messo 32 mbyte di test perchè sono piu' interessato alla velocità da connettività italiane adsl rispetto a server dedicati europei.

dai una letta a quel thread...

in pratica per politica scritta (ma non sempre applicata?????) dopo i primi 32megabytes ogni singola connessione viene limitata a 10mbit...
per questo ti suggerivo un file di dimensione maggiore (100 appunto per superare anche i 64megabyte....)

Per le connessioni italiane ti posso postare quello dall'università di padova (garr)

(e non è un problema mio perche' li ho banda a sproposito... me lo fa su tutti gli altri server, e lo fa anche ad altri (leggi appunto quel thread) )
La cosa "positiva" è che anche sul tuo lo fa... a volta invece certi server non hanno quel limite inizialmente... ma appare improvvisamente dopo...

se non hai progetti mirror etc che usano tanta banda da spostare è dura si...

comunque io sui dvd di centos un po' di traffico riesco a farlo... quasi 3tb dal 22 agosto ad oggi...

torrent si... entrare come mirror ufficiale è dura e devi dare garanzie... torrent invece anche se ti stufi e lo fermi non succede nulla
