Salve a tutti :-) Sul mio Server VPS, basato su CentOS 6.10 e Plesk 17.8.11 mi compare questo messaggio seguito dalla lista dei processi tra cui indico quelli di Apache: Dopo alcuni minuti arriva un secondo messaggio che indica che è tutto tornato come prima: Se non intervengo con un riavvio, ogni 10 minuti (a volte ogni 20 o 30 minuti) circa arriva il primo avviso "Yellow" e successivamente dopo circa 5 o 10 minuti quello "Green"; Se riavvio il sistema sta buono per un mesetto. Chiaramente il riavvio dell'intera macchina, specie per un server, deve essere l'ultima delle soluzioni, ma ho provato a riavviare solo il servizio Apache, senza però risolvere il problema... Ovviamente so che c'è qualche sito che fa aumentare la memoria di Apache, ma secondo me un problema specifico di qualche sito (principalmente sono siti Joomla!, Wordpress e altri statici) perché dopo il riavvio il problema non si presenta più... Come potrei intervenire senza dover riavviare per forza il server?   15. Salve ho acquistato un server dedicato presso hostingperte.it, ho optato per un server linux con a bordo centos6 64bit. Ho evitato plesk e ho deciso di compilare da zero ispconfig 3, ho installato il tutto compreso le dipendenze, tutto funziona almeno a vista, nel senso che accedendo a https://mioserver:8080 navigo nella GUI, creo clienti, account ftp, email dns ecc. Ma almeno per i dns crea i record nel database ma non registra le info nel file di configurazione di bind, infatti non funzionano i dns e non riesco a far puntare il dominio al mio server. Qualcuno può aiutarmi grazie. cristian

Ho l'esigenza di aggiornare la versione di php in un virtualserver creato con centos 6.5, in questo server è installato parallels plesk 11.5 e attualmente ho a disposizione solo la versione 5.3.3.   17. Quando si sceglie un server, un cloud o una vps, la prima cosa da fare è scegliere il sistema operativo. Linux rappresenta in genere la scelta per grandissima parte delle persone, e può essere diviso in due grandi rami principali, quello delle distro basate su Debian, e quelle basate su Redhat/Centos. Cosa vi ha portato a scegliere un ramo anzichè un altro? Pura abitudine? O avete riscontrato vantaggi nell'optare per no anzichè per l'altro? Magari maggiore sicurezza o stabilità, o maggiore facilità...

How to build git for a host with no compiler Brevemente, l'articolo consiglia di avere una macchina identica al server di destinazione. Installarci git per poi copiarlo staticamente sul server finale. Qualcuno di voi ha già provato? Credete sia possibile? Sui server condivisi Linux di Aruba che sto utilizzando ora gira "CentOS release 6.3 (Final)". L'unico server al quale ho accesso ssh è la 5.5 e non posso fare questo passaggio statico con questa versione. Qualcuno ha la versione 6.3? Se questo si potesse davvero fare, penso che sarebbe utile a molti sviluppatori. non credete? Apro questa discussione perchè magari qualcuno si trova con il mio stesso quesito, o magari qualcuno l'hai già risolto precedentemente e può condividere la sua esperienza. ciao

Salve a tutti, non è da molto che ho iniziato a vedere come funziona qualche distro linux server tramite vmware... siccome l'ho fatto solo in locale e a breve voglio noleggiare una vps con il software in oggetto, vorrei aver chiare alcune cose: secondo le specifiche dichiarate il provider che me la fornirebbe ha già installato LAMP e mi dà anche Plesk incluso... ecco, ma oltre ad agire tramite pannello io posso virtualmente vedere la macchina, e anche nel caso in cui non sia installata l'interfaccia grafica, fare lo yum di GNOME e X Window...? Ho il controllo totale sulla macchina...? Per esempio posso usare un browser dal server e scaricare dati? Poi, una cosa che non riesco a fare in locale... il server ftp lo faccio partire ma da filezilla su win entro solo da porta 22... chi mi sa dire come fare con vsftpd e normale porta 21, e quindi protocollo FTP e non SSH.   22. Ciao a tutti, abbiamo un problema con un Server Dedicato ed una VPS con CentOS (la prima 64 la seconda 32). Mano a mano che il tempo passa la RAM viene cosumata sempre di più, ma se uso "top" o "ps aux", la ram appare utilizzata ma non appare utilizzata da nessun processo in particolare, sembrerebbe essere il kernel. In termini pratici, ho un server con 4 gb di ram senza al momento alcun sito attivo (stiamo trasferendo il primo sito adesso) che, dopo 1 giorno dal riavvio risulta avere tutta la ram occupata. Il centro assistenza mi dice che secondo loro è normale che la ram venga utilizzata in questo modo ma questa notte il server VPS è andato giù (per la quarta o quinta volta in meno di due mesi) e abbiamo paura che possa accadere lo stesso anche al server. Sapete perchè viene utilizzata così? secondo voi è normale? posso risolvere il problema? Grazie mille!!!

  24. Ciao a tutti sono nuovo del forum, per cui saluto tutti. :) Ho una macchina in produzione basata su CentOS 5.3 con Apache, PHP, MySQL e ISPConfig 3, con dei domini in hosting. Mi hanno chiesto di ospitare un sito basato su OpenCMS e quindi dovrei installare Tomcat. Secondo posso avere problemi installando Tomcat sul server in produzione con ISPConfig dove già sono attivi altri domini? Altri consigli e cautele? :) Grazie in anticipo

Spero di aver azzeccato la sezione giusta, al contrario chiedo venia al povero amministratore :) Ieri ho installato munin (dopo aver letto l'interessante guida qui su HT), e tutto è andato bene, tranne per il fatto che i plugins relativi all'SQL non funzionano. Ovviamente ho fatto tutte le ricerche possibili e immaginabili, quindi ho attivato i plugins MySQL* che vengono correttamente visualizzati sull'interfaccia web di munin però con "elettrocardiogramma piatto". Seguendo tutorial ho fatto il setup del plugin in plugins.conf come segue: [mysql*] user root group wheel env.mysqladmin /usr/bin/mysqladmin env.mysqlopts -u (nomeutentemysql) -p(password) Cosa posso aver sbagliato?
